Darren Family!....

Firstly, Happy Niu(牛) Year to all of you!...

Today, all chinese should be having their HAPPY reunion dinner with their family...This is the time every ppl in the family gather tgt and have a good dinner...

So i shall blog abt my family today!....

As usual for the past 5years?...my dinner is rather short...this year, 10mins!
But the only diff this year is, all my family members is here!...

I cant say my family is broken...I also cant say, my family dun love each other... its juz we dun as bonded as last time....

After the dinner, my 2nd bro, went to his gf house, my elder bro go find his frens.

Why 5 years ago?...

Cox my family have been going thru a hard time this few years...

1. My eldest bro in boy's home, and jail for the 2 time for the past 5 years...
2. My 2nd bro, is been jail last year...
3. My family have been harass by loan shark for 2 years thanks to my elder bro...
more....

This year, all "free" so we get to eat tgt... and we have not been eating for the past few years, normally, is me and my parents so slowly the culture is lose...

Now:
1. my 2nd bro stay with her gf
2. my elder bro, stay in a organisation, cox they provide him a job and all his fren is there... so now he got a good life style...

I rmb every new year i am so excited and looking forward, but now?...NO....i rmb we had our reunion dinner for 3hrs!...can u believe 3hrs?...eating happily tgt, chatting and gambling after dinner(this is when, i learn those stuff)...

I have a big family on my father side...but after 2 my father's sis( aunt) is dead, theres no place for us to "gather"....

chinese got a saying: when a tree falls, all monkey runs...

So 1st day of new year, we only visit my father, 3rd sis then go home. Then my mother's sis will come my house to eat.

2nd day, those "run away monkeys", will come to my house and my father will prepared a feast for them... this culture starts after 2years of my aunt dealth which is 4 years ago, when everybody decide my house to have the usual gathering...i rmb clearly, they decide during a weeding dinner of my cousin....its really alot of ppl....

Every year, they will ask where is the rest of my bro, and some knows cox we have borrow $$ from them to "bail" my bro once...and some, we tell them "go out with frens"....

My father and mother had earn GREAT respect to them, some family, my parent have loan them alot of money which they nv return and my parent also help them to borrow money from those richer family, cox those richer family believe my parents...cox when my ah gong die, my mum dun have $$ to bury him and, she lend from a family which i nearly get adopt by them, my mum cant bear to gv away so i am still here!. And she work dam hard, and repay them asap!... my family and their is very close, cox we stay near to each other, when i was young, we always go his house and play, overnight, but after we moved house to jurong, lesser contact...but my parent will visit their stall, and they will treat them eat, and will "da pao" back...his stall got win prize de lea...dam nice!

So during the 2nd day, my parents treat all my relative VERY WELL during the feast and they love to chat with my parents despite some still owe them $$... some richer family, even PAO hong pao for my parent!...and my parent ang pao $$ sometime MORE THAN ME!!!

I think i also born the same things as my parent, forgive and forget...and are generous..

I really love my parent cox they are dam supportive to my decision, i got my freedom when i am pri 2... They love us, more than themself...

i rmb clearly an incident, that time when my bro and i am young, we wanted "game boy" so much, my father go prawn his fav gold necklace and buy for us... wad we wan they will think of a way to get it for us... no matter, wad my bro had done, they still love him instead of scolding them and piss when they come back despite the things they had done...

my bro is not really very bad as you think, we got talk to each other,care and help for each other...

And i think, without them, there are no Darren...

I really admire those had a good bond with their relative, cousin like fren, play and go out tgt...
